SBLS Director's Welcome message
The School of Biological and Life Sciences in committed to equipping students with solid theoretical knowledge and hands on skills.
Our highly qualified teaching staff provide theoretical knowledge and together with our very competent technical staff, they train students
on hands on skills. Our curricula reflect current information and techniques. In order to ensure that our undergraduate students are relevant to
industry and research, we place a lot of emphasis on acquisition of practical skills. Each unit has a minimum of six practicals, done in practical manuals.
During Internal Industry Based Learning (IBL), our students undergo a defined program, which give them additional practical skills.
In addition, they are involved in product development, skills they can use for self-employment.
